  Question
If one suspects that fraud has occurred related to the discount card program, what is the preferred method for reporting the fraud?
  Answer
A report of potential fraud and abuse of the drug discount card and/or the $600 credit should be made to 1-800-MEDICARE or the OIG Hotline at 1-800-447-8477. If the individual reporting fraud feels that their life is in danger he/she should contact the local law enforcement agency immediately.
