Can an individual enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, which offers an exclusive card, sign up for a different discount card?
  Question
Can an individual enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, which offers an exclusive card, sign up for a different discount card? If so, will the individual be disenrolled from his/her Medicare Advantage plan?
  Answer
The individual will not be disenrolled from the Medicare Advantage plan. Managed Care plan members whose plans have an exclusive card may only enroll in that card. An enrollment in a general card for managed care plan members whose plans have an exclusive card, will be rejected.
