Mission Statement

The Office of Public Affairs and Internal Communications is dedicated to educating the public about the strategic law enforcement mission and activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the largest investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security. The Office proactively distributes valuable information about ICE’s dynamic operations on a timely and consistent basis to a broad a range of audiences, including media outlets, Members of Congress, the general public and ICE and DHS employees, to help ensure that they are kept accurately informed about developments involving and/or affecting the organization.
