From Spitzer to Herschel and Beyond will be a forum for the long-wavelength astrophysics community to explore scientific questions and technical capabilities of the next two decades. Because far-IR observations require novel detector and instrument architecture, as well as cryogenic space observatories, substantial technical effort is required for new scientific discoveries. The purpose of this conference is to bring together astrophysicists and technology experts to take stock of recent progress, and plan for the future.
