TYPE I DIABETES MURINE MODEL RESOURCE: NOTICE OF LIMITED COMPETITION Release Date: July 26, 2001 NOTICE: NOT-RR-01-010 National Center for Research Resources The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), Division of Comparative Medicine, is announcing a limited competition for competing supplemental applications from U42 Cooperative Agreements and P40 Resource Grants with extensive expertise and experience necessary to establish repositories for Type I diabetes mouse models. These Centers will enhance the availability and help ensure the quality of genetically altered murine models of Type I diabetes. Each Center must be capable of importing, maintaining, and providing animals, cryopreserving, storing and reconstituting embryos, genotyping, and linking with the existing Mutant Mouse Regional Resource Center informatics network.
