ADVISOR Program (Version 4.4.4.206) This page provides access to the
ADVISOR Program, The ADVISOR Program is a computer-based training program which covers the 8 major benefit programs administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Each benefit module includes information on eligibility requirements, application procedures and processing, and rates of payments. The ADVISOR Program includes a fact sheet titled "!ADVISOR Update!", which provides a summary and short explanation of the changes and modifications made for this version. A major feature of this version is that users can now choose between two modes of operation. The "Training Mode of Operation" requires the use of a student disk, which allows participants to keep a record of lesson assessments, bookmarks and completed lessons. The "Information Mode of Operation" is a new feature that removes the requirement for a training disk, thus giving individuals the option of using the system for informational purposes only. ADVISOR includes a computer-based "User Guide," which is the first training module. If you are a first time user we recommend that you complete all lessons in this module. For the advanced user, we have included a quick reference guide. This installation package consists of one file that you must download to install ADVISOR, version 4.4.4.206. This is a self- extracting file that may be downloaded to your PC. This file is placed here for any interested individuals within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
