Worker Drug Use and Workplace Policies and Programs: Results from the 1994 and 1997 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse |
The magnitudes of workers= self-reported reluctance to work for employers who test for drug use are differentiated by occupational groups, by type of drug testing program, and by size of the establishment at which they work. For example, workers in executive, administrative, and managerial occupations, and workers in sales and construction occupations also reported a larger scale of reluctance to work for employers who tested for drug use upon suspicion.
