Worker Drug Use and Workplace Policies and Programs: Results from the 1994 and 1997 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse |
Table 6.2 presents the relative likelihood of a worker using any illicit drug in the past month by the status of whether workers had and were aware of a set of drug-use-related information, policies, and programs in their workplaces. The analyses were conducted on two models separately: in model I, the self perceived availability of the workplace drug use information, policies, and EAPs were entered together with all the demographic characteristics listed in Table 6.1; in model II, the perceived availability of the workplace drug test at hiring, randomly, upon suspicion, and post-accident were entered together with all the relevant demographic variables.
