Abstract

The HRSA Information Center is a nationwide point of entry for publications, resources and referrals on health care services for low-income, uninsured individuals and those with special health care needs. HRSA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that focuses on improving access to health care for individuals and families. Through the Information Center, health care professionals, policymakes, researchers, and members of the public can obtain material on HRSA-supported public health programs including maternal and child health, oral health, HIV/AIDS, community health, minority health, rural health, health professions training and the planning, development and delivery of high quality ambulatory health care in medically underserved areas. Information specialists provide information and referral and the web site contains searchable databases of community health centers and health related organizations.

Publications

The HRSA Information Center offers publications related to access to health care, health care professions training and workforce studies, HIV/AIDS, the Ryan White CARE Act, maternal and child health, children with special health care needs, perinatal health, women's health, oral health, organ and tissue donation, managed care, health care quality, minority health, rural health, telemedicine, health centers, and primary health care.
