Worldwide War on Terrorism: Continuing Threats, Continuing Lessons This one-week seminar examines the threat of terrorism to U.S. security. The increasing number and ferocity of terrorist attacks have led U.S. officials to describe it as a war, but it is a war that is changing even as it escalates. Will terrorism grow to be even more violent and more indiscriminate? Will the world experience more chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons intended for mass destruction? Or will tomorrow's terrorist be a sophisticated electronic soldier penetrating and sabotaging the information and communications systems upon which modern society increasingly depends? Participants in this interactive program, staffed by experts in the field, are exposed to current thinking in this critical area.
