The Public Health Foundation (PHF) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to achieving healthy communities through research, training, and technical assistance. The Foundation's Board of Directors comprises two state health officers, two local public health officers, one local board of health member, and four individuals from academic, private sector, and other public health agency settings. PHF assists health agencies and other community health system organizations by providing objective information in areas such as health improvement planning, understanding and using data, and improving performance.
