DES Action is a national nonprofit organization formed to provide the public with information on the consequences of the use of diethylstilbestrol (DES) for women who have taken it and for children born to these women. In addition to publishing educational materials relating to DES, the organization provides a list of gynecologists who are familiar with the potential medical complications resulting from DES use.
Publications
DES Action publishes pamphlets on DES and the consequences of its use for mothers and their children, as well as the Fertility and Pregnancy Guide for DES Daughters and Sons. Materials are available in English, Spanish, and French. Serial publication: DES Action Voice (newsletter), quarterly--feature articles, organization news, and current medical information on DES.
