Abstract

The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America was established in 1952 to promote research on the prevention and cure of myasthenia gravis. The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation has chapters and Information Representatives nationwide. It awards research grants, conducts symposia, operates MG treatment centers, and publishes educational materials and public service announcements. Myasthenia Gravis, a neuromuscular disease, is estimated to affect 70,000 Americans.

Publications

Publications include the Practical Guide; Survival Guide; and Physician's Manual. Some publications are available in Spanish.
