Abstract

This Network develops, identifies, and collects information on the prevention, treatment, and control of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and tuberculosis (TB), and makes this information available to healthcare providers, patients, grassroots community organizations, and organizations working in prevention, research, and support services. NPIN offers a variety of services including reference and referrals to public and private resources; online databases; and publications about HIV/AIDS, STDs, and TB. In addition, NPIN maintains several resource centers, a Web site with up-to-date HIV/AIDS, STDs, and TB information and a resource service for businesses and labor unions.
