Abstract

Office of Air and Radiation, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (OAR) will be the leader in the U.S. and the world in protecting human health and the environment by preventing air pollution and exposure to radiation through effective management of public and private resources. OAR will accomplish its goals by enabling our diverse staff to reach their greatest potential as professionals. We can maximize OAR's success by ensuring on-going professional development and empowerment of staff to meet the established goals in new ways. We will support and encourage innovative approaches and solutions and promote the development of new technologies. We must strive to develop our capability to serve as a credible source of information supporting our decisions and implementation strategies. We are dedicated to achieving our vision by challenging ourselves to constantly improve our outcomes and meet established and measurable program and management goals. We will realize our vision by developing and maintaining constructive partnerships both within government and with external constituencies. Developing partnerships with diverse organizations with shared goals and facilitate implementation of both voluntary and regulatory programs.
