I thought there was a distinction between being entitled and being enrolled.
  Question
I thought you were eligible for a discount card if you were entitled to Medicare Part A, but I've seen a lot of materials that say a person must be enrolled. I thought there was a distinction between being entitled and being enrolled.
  Answer
Individuals who are entitled to premium-free Part A or who are enrolled in Part A (and paying the Part A premium), or who are enrolled in Part B are all eligible for the discount card. For more information look at our website http://www.cms.hhs.gov/discountdrugs.
