Abstract

The National Commission Against Drunk Driving, a nonprofit public service organization, was formed in response to a recommendation by the Presidential Commission on Drunk Driving. The group's principal purpose is to assist State and local governments and the private sector to implement the Presidential Commission's recommendations. The organization's goal is to make drunk driving socially unacceptable by initiating education and prevention programs, serve as a national clearinghouse, and publish a newsletter.
