Abstract

The Bureau of Health Professions (BHPr), Health Resources and Services Administration, improves the health status of the population by providing national leadership in the development, distribution and retention of a diverse, culturally competent health workforce that provides the hightest quality care of all. Makes Grants to health professions training programs and supports scholarships, educational loans and loan repayment programs for certain health professionals.

Publications

Publications include fact sheets on current health professions and nurse training authorities, reports to Congress on the status of health professions and nursing personnel, reports of studies, directories, and trend data on grants.
