Abstract

The primary function of the Division of Quality Assurance is to protect the public by promoting quality assurance programs and activities. In so doing, DQA manages the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), the Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank (HIPDB), and the Federal Credentialing Program.
