Alabama Grazing School Scheduled

The Alabama Grazing School, scheduled for October 19-20, 2004, provides the latest information and instruction on grazing management to Alabama cattlemen.  The school is two days of instruction and hands-on exercises designed to educate participants in the principles of grazing management.

Grassland Reserve Program Funded in Alabama

State Conservationist Bob Jones announced that USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has set aside $645,000 to fund the Grassland Reserve Program (GRP) in Alabama.
