NAICS Code Provisions
- now allow Buyers to select a primary NAICS code for
a solicitation and allow vendors to specify the NAICS
code in field searches and notification profiles.
CSS Amendment Function
- Combined Synopsis Solicitation (CSS) - now provides
a Buyer Create function for posting an amendment to
a combined synopsis/solicitation including a template,
similar to the MOD template, for the submission interface.

Search Enhancements
- now support simultaneous active/archive search,
search by synopsis type, date-range search, NAICS code
search and search-within-search features.
FTP/email Submission
Templates - have been expanded to allow an
optional 6-digit primary NAICS code - tag: <NAICS>
- after the classification code - <CLASSCODE>.

Vendor Datafeed File
Records - have been expanded to include a primary
6-digit NAICS code - tag: <NAICS> - after the
classification code - <CLASSCODE>. (See

Buyer Admin Edits - now
prevent FBO administrators from duplicating location
account codes and logins; require organizational (ORG)
role assignment prior to user admin assignment and replaced
"non-deployed" options with FTP options. FBO
office/location/user levels are now displayed in alphabetical
order and have additional user search and link options
to facilitate navigation.
Delete & Unarchive Functions
- FTP/Email – now supports Buyer
delete and unarchive transactions for FBO submissions
via FTP and email interfaces with delete and unarchive
interface templates. (See
Interface Description.)
The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
now requires contractor registration in the Central
Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award
of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement,
or blanket purchase agreement on or after October
1, 2003. Contractors can register in the CCR database
by going to http://www.ccr.gov.
