Mission Statement for the Organ Systems Branch

The Organ Systems Branch (1) develops, directs and administers broad, multidisciplinary, transitional research programs focused on solid tumor cancers of high incidence; (2) coordinates branch activities with related activities in other Divisions of the Institute; (3) maintains liaison with appropriate federal and non-federal organizations, institutions, and scientists; and (4) facilitates, coordinates, and tracks solid tumor research resources, as required, which relate to the needs of two or more extramural Divisions of the Institute.
