Regulations Under Development This Quarter




The following regulatory documents are under development within CMS and may be of particular interest to Medicaid entities. While we expect to publish documents contained in this release of the QPU, this listing does not create an obligation on the government to publish. We welcome your comments, and encourage you to submit your comments online.

To the extent practical, CMS publishes regulatory documents on the fourth Friday of each month in the Federal Register. Scheduled publication dates for this quarter are:

  • October 22, 2004
  • November 26, 2004
  • December 23, 2004
Please note that CMS' regulatory work is governed by statutory publication dates and other mandates that do not always coincide with the fourth Friday of the month. In these instances, CMS will comply with the statutory publication requirements.
