Quality and other technical information related to this item:
1993
The Census Bureau created a gross difference rate (GDR) score for comparing changes between the
initial and reinterview data. An inconsistency index was created and questions with an
inconsistency reading below a score of 30 were considered fairly reliable. This question
had an inconsistency score of 22 percent. We believe the largest problem stemmed from
teachers who included their students among those supervised. Item nonresponse was less than
one percent for all surveys.
