Item nonresponse was low, one percent or less for each SESTAT survey. On the basis of reinterview data,
this question was also very reliable but subject to some mode effects, with fewer positive responses to
"not working" on Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) than on the self-administered mail
questionnaire.
