U.S. Trade Representative Visits Peru and Ecuador
U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Robert Zoellick is visiting Peru and Ecuador June 7-9 to discuss the U.S.-Andean free-trade talks the United States launched with Colombia, Ecuador and Peru on May 18, 2004. USTR Official Outlines Benefits of U.S.-Andean Trade Agreement

U.S. Transfers Confiscated Assets to Government of Peru
During the Special Summit of the Americas, which took place January 12-13 in Monterrey, Mexico, the United States and Peru reached an agreement that authorizes the transfer of confiscated assets to the government of Peru, the State Department has announced.
