Purpose

The purpose of this collaboration is to provide a forum to exchange information on minority health needs in each country and to develop an agenda for long-term collaboration on improving the health of racial and ethnic minority populations in both countries.

Joint Letter of Intent

Steering Committee
The role of the Steering Committee is to provide oversight and advice to the workgroups. The committee's function is to facilitate relationships between the Collaborative Initiative and the government hierarchies in the US and the UK, and to assist in helping to find resources and developing partnerships.

OMH-RC offers information on National Minority Organizations and U.S. health agencies, customized database searches, publications, mailing lists, referrals, and more regarding health issues for American Indian and Alaska Native, African American, Asian American and Pacific Islander, and Hispanic populations.
