Norcal LNG

LNG Fueling StationAVTA evaluated liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks for Norcal Waste System's SF Recycling & Disposal. This project was designed to prepare the San Francisco-based company for the replacement of its 38 diesel trucks with those that run on LNG.

Funded by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District through the City and County of San Francisco, with significant support from Norcal and SF Recycling & Disposal, the AVTA team evaluated 14 trucks over a year and a half. The trucks contain Cummins Westport ISX-G engines.
