Electronic Tariff Filing System

Effective August 10, 2004, the application fee for tariff filings will be increasing to $720. Please review the June Application Fee Order on the fees website at www.fcc.gov/fees. Click on "Application Processing Fees" and then on the link to the June 23, 2004 Order, and subsequent Public Notice dated July 8, 2004.

The Commission Registration System (CORES) is a registration system for entities filing applications or making payments with the Commission. For more information on CORES, click here. Upon registration, you will be assigned a FCC Registration Number (FRN). This number will be used to uniquely identify you in all transactions with the FCC. All incumbent local exchange carriers must have an FRN to make filings in ETFS.

The Electronic Tariff Filing System (ETFS) is an Internet based system through which incumbent Local Exchange Carriers must submit official tariffs and associated documents to the Federal Communications Commission in lieu of filing paper copies with the Secretary's Office. In addition, the Public may also use ETFS, via the Internet, to view these electronically filed tariffs and associated documents. Finally, the Public may also use ETFS to file certain official tariff related documents via the Internet.

Comments on ETFS may be submitted in writing to the Wireline Competition Bureau, Pricing Policy Division, 445 12th Street, S.W., Room 5-A207, Washington, D.C. 20554, attn: Geneva Smith Butler, or via email to etfs@fcc.gov.
