Welcome to the Glenwood Springs Field Office
of the Bureau of Land Management, located in Glenwood Springs,
Colorado. The Field Office manages diverse natural resources
and provides for a variety of natural resource uses, including
livestock grazing, firewood cutting, oil and gas development,
and motorized and non-motorized recreation. Lands are important
for watershed, wildlife, and open space. The area managed
by the Glenwood Springs Field Office includes 568,000 acres of
public lands, extending from Vail in the east to Parachute in
the west and from Toponas in the north to Aspen in the south.
