Eligibility criteria
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be married and over the age of 61 years. You must also either be (a) a primary caregiver responsible for children under the age of 16 years or a child(ren) with a disability, or (b) you, your spouse, parents or children must receive or be eligible to receive social security benefit programs.

Description
These are benefits paid to the spouse of a worker who receives Social Security Retirement or Disability benefits.
