Report on Wind Chill Temperature and Extreme Heat Indices:
Evaluation and Improvement Projects

This report describes the U.S. and Canadian project to jointly evaluate NOAA’s National Weather Service, Environment Canada’s Meteorological Service of Canada and U.S. Department of Defense operational temperature indices, to work together on any upgrades and/or replacements, and to implement these changes as necessary.
