Fire Restrictions Canceled

Fire restrictions on the Modoc National Forest have been canceled, effective at midnight on September 20. When visiting the forest be aware that we have had our first snow in some higher elevations above 5,000 feet.

Emigrant Trails Scenic Byway

Emigrant Trails Scenic Byway Designated. As a result of a united community effort supported by a Grant from the Forest Service, the Forest Service designated the Emigrant Trails Scenic Byway.
