The Office of Naval Research (ONR) invests resources that provide technological superiority to the Fleet/Force. A significant portion of this investment is made in the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE) and the commercial sector. These investments result in improved warfighting capability or reduce costs.

The NRE holds a vast amount of Intellectual Property (IP). ONR’s intent is to employ innovative mechanisms to transition this intellectual property into the commercial sector to the benefit of warfighters and the general public.

This Naval Technology Showcase developed by CTTO is designed to create an online showcase, demonstrating the technologies available to the commercial sector.
