BLM Presents National Volunteer Awards

Seven individuals, one volunteer group, and two Bureau of Land Management employees were honored on Thursday, June 3, at BLM's 2004 "Making a Difference" National Volunteer Awards for outstanding volunteer service or volunteer program leadership on the public lands.

Anasazi Heritage Center Volunteers Honored

Volunteers at BLM's Anasazi Heritage Center in Dolores, Colorado, do everything from preserving artifacts to maintainng the museum's garden. In mid-November, they were honored with a video presentation from Interior Secretary Gale Norton and special awards from Take Pride in America. Click here for details.
