Eligibility criteria
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a current or prospective student under the age of 19 years, pursuing a high school diploma, and you must travel or be interested in traveling outside the 50 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.

Description
American organizations are awarded grants to foster interaction between young people from the U.S. and the 12 countries of the former Soviet Union and to promote mutual understanding. Furthermore, the program aims to integrate the people of Eurasia into the global citizenry by assisting young people of the Eurasian countries in building an open society and by promoting democratic values. Finally, the program hopes to build sustainable partnerships between American and Eurasian schools and institutions.
