The Office of Science and Technology is part of the National Marine Fisheries Service. It is composed of a Directorate and three Divisions:

The Fisheries Statistics and Economics Division provides commercial, recreational, and trade statistics for marine fisheries.
The Research Analysis and Coordination Division is responsible for ensuring the quality and credibility of NMFS's science.
The International Science and Technology Division coordinates the Agency's international science and technology activities.
