Group in OPM serves as the authoritative source for statistical
information on the size and composition of the Federal civilian
workforce. We offer customers free electronic publications
that contain hundreds of tables and charts; and specialized
services (fee may be required)
for customers who need additional data or statistics.
The primary source of our data is the Central
Personnel Data
File, which is maintained
by OPM. We strongly encourage
all customers of our statistics to read the important information
we've provided about our data prior to using it.
