NIA's Office of International Activities

Overview

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) sometimes conducts and supports research with an international component. The NIA intramural program performs collaborative research with international partners under negotiated collaborative agreements. The intramural program also provides training and research opportunities for foreign investigators through intramural labs. However, most research with an international component is conducted by U.S. research institutions which have been awarded competitive grants or contracts. For more information, please contact Marta Campbell, Chief, Office of International Activities, National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, Gateway Building, Suite 2C227, 7201 Wisconsin Avenue MSC 9205, Bethesda, MD 20892-9205.
