DoD Identifies Marine Casualties

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of two Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

            Pfc. Oscar A. Martinez, 19, of North Lauderdale, Fla.

            Cpl. Ian T. Zook, 24, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.

            Both Marines died Oct. 12 as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.   Martinez was assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.  Zook was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif.
