to the rebuilding of the division's operations, and inspirational to

Lauderdale. He subsequently served as group supervisor of a firearms
enforcement group in Miami, and as a supervisor for the High Intensity

group in southern Florida during an era infamous for its extremely violent
firearms, narcotics, and gang activity.
In 1995, Domenech was promoted to Headquarters where he held a number
of positions that diversified his management experience within the Bureau.
As the Special Agent in Charge of the Special Programs Branch, Domenech
was responsible for coordinating undercover investigations and operations
of the most sensitive nature. This included overseeing the use of classified,
fictitious identification utilized by undercover agents, and the disbursement
of emergency expense funds. As the Assistant to the Special Agent in
Charge in the Office of Inspection, Domenech was responsible for overseeing
the operational inspections, or internal reviews, conducted on each
ATF office affiliated with the 23 field divisions.
In 1998, Domenech was appointed Assistant Special Agent in Charge of
the New York Field Division where he oversaw the day-to-day operations
of the ATF/New York Police Department Joint Firearms Task Force and

In July 2001, Domenech was appointed to the Federal Government's Senior
Executive Service. Domenech graduated from John Jay College of Criminal
Justice with a Bachelor of Science degree in Government Public Administration.
