Study of the Incidence of Misconduct Reported by Institutions

 

This study analyzed the misconduct activity reported by institutions in their Annual Report on Possible Research Misconduct for the calendar years 1991-1996.  The study reports the number of institutions reporting allegations, the types of institutions reporting allegations and findings of misconduct, the total number of allegations reported by number of institutions the number of years allegations were reported by number institutions, and the number of inquiries, investigations and misconduct findings by funding rank of institution.
