Composite Suspect Sketches

U.S. Postal Inspectors are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for mailing an improvised explosive device to the 1400 block of Sunflower Road, Washington, KS 66968. The device detonated on January 30, 2004, at 4:10 p.m., injuring the resident. The parcel is believed to have been mailed from Wamego, KS.

Anyone who was in or around the Wamego, KS, Post Office at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2004, is asked to contact the Kansas City Field Division Postal Inspectors at 913-266-2400, Wamego Police Department at 785-456-9553, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation toll-free at 1-800-KSCRIME, the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 785-325-2293, or the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives at 816-559-0710.
