Inherited Disease Research Branch
The Inherited Disease Research Branch develops and applies tools in statistics, genetics and computer science to locate genes that contribute to multifactorial genetic disease. The branch is located on the Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus in Baltimore, in close proximity to the Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR).
Investigators in the branch develop and implement new statistical methods and software tools for simulations and the analysis of real data, and are involved in numerous collaborations in study design, genotype analysis, and gene mapping and segregation analysis.
