Year 2000 Souvenir Cards

blankSouvenir cards are exquisite engraved reproductions of historic and antique engravings. Each uniquely designed card is created from a master die or plate featuring images of either antique currency or banknote style vignettes or portraits.

In honor of the Year 2000, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing released one new souvenir card each month, with the common theme of events or individuals that had significant impacts on the United States in the 1900’s. These magnificent reproductions are produced on a high quality, acid free paper stock. Souvenir cards arrive in a white paper envelope that includes a detailed history/write up about the engraving.
