Consular Section Hours of Operation and Holidays

For Non-immigrant and Immigrant visas, the Consular Section is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Please refer to the relevant sections on our website for the appropriate procedure.

For American Citizen Services, we are open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. In addition, the ACS section is open from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on Wednesdays only for parents who need to bring their children to the Embassy for replacement passports after school, under new rules that require all minors to appear in person for passport applications. The ACS section will not provide services other than children's passports during this hour.

The Consular Section is closed on Singapore and U.S. holidays and may occasionally also close for internal reasons. We are currently scheduled to be closed on the following days in 2004:
