Dr. Hays is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and progress toward completion of the IHS-EHR suite of applications, and for creating a program that will sustain the EHR and support sites that implement it.
Clinical Lead:
Robert Byron, MD, MPH, Crow Service Unit, Crow MT; robert.byron@mail.ihs.gov
Dr. Byron is the lead clinical user of EHR and is responsible for coordinating the EHR requirements process for current and future development, and for developing a training program that meets the needs of EHR users.
Technical Lead:
Bruce Parker, ITSC Acting Director, Albuquerque NM; Bruce.Parker@ihs.gov
The ITSC Director is responsible for designating staff to oversee development, initial testing and certification of the EHR applications, technical support for EHR after deployment, and consultation and support on network and technical infrastructure issues.

Ms. Schweitzer works closely with sites that are moving toward EHR, in team building, planning, technical and business process self-assessment, and a variety of other preparatory activities.
Deployment and Training Coordinator:

CAPT Taylor is responsible for developing and coordinating training activities for Clinical Application Coordinators, EHR implementation teams, and clinical users.
Hardware and Network Consultant:

Mr. Old Coyote provides consultation to Areas and health care facilities on computer hardware and network requirements for adequate support of EHR.
Health Information Management Consultant:

Ms. Gowan consults with the EHR Program on issues relating to medical records management in the EHR environment.
