Eligibility criteria
In order to qualify for this benefit program, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $16,613 if one person lives in the household; $22,422 if two people live in the household; $28,231 if three people live in the household; $34,040 if four people live in the household; $39,849 if five people live in the household; $45,658 if six people live in the household; $51,467 if seven people live in the household; $57,276 if eight people live in the household. For larger households, add $5,809 for each additional person in the home.
Description
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides free, nutritious meals and snacks to help children in low-income areas get the nutrition they need to learn, play and grow throughout the summer months when they are out of school.
