Features
Birmingham to receive $2,998,957 from HUD to produce 275 lead safe rental units
The Department of Community Development will produce 250 lead safe rental units in four low-income areas of the city and target 25 units of owner-occupied housing with elevated blood lead children present. The 275 treated homes will protect an estimated 460 children from lead hazard conditions.   Full Story
