Features
Buying a home means getting an inspection…before signing the contract. There is no substitute for a professional home inspection. The appraisal that is required for almost all purchases should not be mistaken for an inspection. No home is perfect, but getting an inspection by a pro protects the buyer from those really big surprises. Remember too, that many states require sellers to disclose known defects to buyers prior to the signing of the sales contract. Visit our homebuying page.

Grants.gov is THE single access point for over 900 grant programs offered by the 26 Federal grant-making agencies, including HUD. Find out what you need to do to get prepared to submit electronic grant applications.
